Trinity Grammar Preparatory School – Strathfield, New South Wales
The Trinity Grammar Preparatory School is a private teaching and early learning school. The Summer Hill campus had undergone a refurbishment to the 3 storey Llandilo building, redeveloping the internal and external components of the facility to adopt a new style of teaching and learning.
Versalux was engaged by Trinity Grammar Preparatory School alongside Stephen Edwards Constructions, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects, and JHA Consulting Engineers to implement tailored lighting solutions that would improve students and teachers quality of life over the course of the working and learning day to achieve high quality performance throughout the breakout rooms and corridors.
The breakout area represents a functional and flexible element of Trinity Grammar Preparatory School which promotes collaborative learning across all parts of the curriculum. The INFINITI luminaires have been recessed into timber panels and plaster ceilings. The flagship INFINITI series is well respected, known for its performance and reliability whilst maintaining a desirable architectural effect.
The INFINITI optics are suited to creating focused illumination making the environment suitable to perform in a multi-functional and collaborative space. This is an excellent social space for students to take a break between classes, eat their meals during recess and lunch, and comfortably chat together with their classmates or teachers in an informal manner.
Throughout the corridors, the INFINITI luminaires showcase its premium design blending into the modern aesthetics of the ceiling as a recessed fitting packed full of advanced technology. The INFINITI luminaires blend into the white ceiling whilst providing a visual aid for students and teachers to transition between the multi-purpose spaces available to the greater community of Trinity Grammar.
