Alana Healthcare is a women’s healthcare clinic. The newly constructed healthcare facility, which is situated in Kensington in the south-east of Sydney, aimed to facilitate a smooth workflow and embrace its philosophy of a strong work ethic and patient focused approach.

Versalux worked closely with Perfect Practice to install high quality lighting solutions that would integrate into the interior of the clinic, bringing the new medical facility to life. The objective was to make the healthcare clinic comfortable and welcoming for both clients and staff members. The luminaire selection enhances the healthcare clinic by providing excellent performance in the corridors, patient rooms and reception area.

The VENICE BOX luminaires, installed in a two gang configuration in the ceiling, produce a beautiful lighting effect in the reception area. In a medical setting, the lighting arrangement provides visual comfort. In the clinic’s reception space, the fixtures provide a burst of illumination for patients to feel refreshed and at ease as they approach and leave the space. Each patient can converse with staff members and other patients in glare free environment.

The PRATO luminaires are a hybrid surface mounted downlight, which compliments the VENICE BOX luminaires on the ceiling as a single element at the reception area in linear arrays. The PRATO creates an illuminated lighting effect against the wall and harmonise the dark coloured feature wall as an architectural effect.

The corridor areas are illuminated by the VENICE BOX luminaires in linear arrays, to provide safe illumination for movement between the facilities spaces.

In the patient rooms, the TORINO LED strips are of high quality construction, offering superb direct illumination in simple lines to harmonise the cosy space as an architecture effect. All visitors entering the patient rooms can enjoy an elegant and comforting environment by the TORINO’s high colour rendering LED’s.

The COMO BLACK appears in the patient area of the healthcare clinic. This commercial downlight was chosen for its sleek design and quality performance. The COMO BLACK provides full coverage for inside the patient room with its multi-faceted reflector design to deliver high illumination levels for a home like well-balanced environment.
