Versalux has provided the interior and exterior lighting for the new Eastern Innovation Business Centre (EIBC), a place that acts as a Business Incubator, particularly focussing on science, technology and research-based businesses.

The building is designed to provide the base to facilitate, inspire and grow innovative small businesses to achieve great success. The design and structure of the building integrates ecologically sustainable methodologies in the form of renewable energy, water technology and advanced material technology. The facility is accessible 24/7 and does accommodate different types of working environments including hot desks, collaborative areas, break out zones, work stations, laboratories and private office spaces. It will also contain common facilities including reception, printing amenities, shower, kitchen, and meeting spaces which will provide opportunities for gatherings.

The centre also provides vast networking opportunities and is perfectly located in the heart of Melbourne’s hi-tech, scientific zone (Monash Technology Precinct). The immediate surrounds include the likes of CSIRO Australia, Monash University, the Australian Synchrotron facility, Monash Science & Technology Park, Monash Medical Centre, the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication and a number of business parks.

The H-Frame galvanized steel VIVIANA bollard LED lights pictured have the dual function of illuminating the driveway and providing safety to people entering and living the centre.
