Versalux worked together with M&T Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd to create an intelligent lighting solution for The University. A minimalistic design with excellent glare control to enhance the higher education space through quality illumination with INFINITI linear profile and PRATO surface adjustable luminaires.
INFINITI is one of Versalux’s most popular commercial grade lights due to its superior performance and innovative composition. The INFINITI luminaires are recessed, integrated and achieve a clean transition into the buildings ceiling. The micro prismatic lens allows spectators to view the stage whilst minimising shadows and unwanted glare, having put in place the right lighting levels for students to learn and interact freely.
The surface mounted version of the INFINITI is installed and tailored for illuminating the front area of the lecture hall, producing vertical and horizontal uniformity and allowing the audience to easily recognise facial expressions and movement.
PRATO-2 luminaires, the largest of the hybrid spotlight series were installed to compliment the INFINITI extrusion and are showcased throughout the entire lecture hall. They are surface mounted and equipped with a 90° tilt and 350° rotation functionality. The flexibility of the double element fixtures can be directed to set the scene and reach an optimum educational experience for both students and staff members.
