The high-end car showroom, Zagame Fiat & Alfa Romeo at Richmond was lit up with ICON and VARESE on VERSATRAC. It was a masterpiece, visioned by David Earle and was given life with the help of the cutting-edge lighting solution by Versalux. ICON is one of our premium linear systems, used in a surface and suspended version with Opalescent optic and a low wattage medium wide flood optic was chosen for VARESE.

The existing building’s false ceiling was removed exposing beams and services and that were then painted black which makes the reflectances very low. One of the key design factors for this design, was to get the right balance between impactful result and visual comfort and to achieve this, a light solution with continuous capability was used which spans wall to wall providing enough ambient lighting also punctuating the entire area with linear ICON’s resulting in an extra impact showcasing the shapes of the cars. Spotlights were used for added sparkle and interest.
