Workstation task light
The Ninety LED task lamp has won many international awards for its design and functionality.
Ninety is dimmable, has a flexible lamp head and can be mounted in an ingenious double action rotating table base, with a table edge clamp, or in a table insert bracket.
Using energy efficient LEDs, Ninety provide bright and warm light while saving energy. It automatically turns itself off after 9 hours to save energy.
Designer
Shawn Littrell has won several awards for his designs in lighting and office furniture. He describes his design process as a balance of rejecting on the past and looking towards the future. Littrell was born in Seattle, Washington, but spent his formative years in New Mexico. He attended the Art Center College of design where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial design. He currently lives in California.
Luminaire overview
Movement
Luxo's Ninety series task light features an innovative two-pivot arm, 78cm long, with 2-axis head tilting capability.
Note: Allowing for upward head tilt creates more flexibility but may cause unwanted glare.
Optic
Ninety is equipped with state-of-the-art light emitting diodes, which provide bright, warm light. Light emitting diodes have an incredibly long life span. The diodes in Luxo's Ninety have a life expectancy of 45,000 hours. That means 25 years or more with normal office use. You may never have to change the light source! The Ninety series is supplied with 1 x 6W LED module, featuring a warm white colour temperature of 3250K, with a good colour rendition index (CRI) of 90.
The LEDs in the Ninety series are set for optimum asymmetric throw, with white polycarbonate reflector material and frosted diffuser.
Construction
High quality construction is assured via the aluminium and steel, precision engineered components.
The Ninety series is supplied standard with its specialised clamp for tables. Other mounts such as a rotating table base, integrated table mount or panel/rail bracket are also available on request.
Electrical
Each Luxo Ninety task light is supplied complete with an ELV cable and quick disconnect plug which is matched to the supplied 240V AC power adaptor, enabling the wiring to pass through small holes that the adaptor could not fit.
