Innovative area light with spectral transitioning

Cadre is an area luminaire that responds to the modern urban issues of luminous forms of harmony and respecting living environments. It innovates through its shape and luminous signature, providing three distinct lighting approaches according to the requirements of the spaces - Ambiance, Urban or Black Infrastructure. Ambiance and Urban provide a 3000K warm illumination in either diffuse or street-lighting distribution respectively. Black Infrastructure utilises a combination of white and amber LEDs to shift the light tone according to dynamic input from the environment. The Cadre's fresh take on physical form demonstrates an approach that freed itself from the limits of traditional light sources and leveraged the possibilities inherent in LED-based illumination. The rectangular aspect harmonises with urban structure and delivers a unique dual-parallel illumination effect, whilst the internal void allows for a free-floating appearance when the lighting column is placed using the internal positioning option, which in turn avoids unnecessary shadowing by the mounting structure.

Spectral Transitioning

A black infrastructure is a sector, natural or urban, on which the artificial night lighting is adapted to limit its impacts on nature, without hindering either the security or comfort of human activities. Black Infrastructure Cadre when energised always provides amber LED illumination, and is equiped with an external presence sensor generating additional white LED illumination in response to human movement within its sensor zone. The white LED illumination can be programmed to perform various functions. The lighting concept responds to new urban concerns on preserving nocturnal biodiversity and reducing energy consumption and light pollution when the level of human presence is low. Black Infrastructure defines a new nocturnal vision which is more contrasted, and more respectful of the environment. It provides a more considered approach to natural species of flora and fauna thanks to ambient, uniform and subtle lighting.

Asymmetric optic - mount rotated internal

Luminaire overview

Design

Die-cast aluminium body with 220°C oven-baked black polyester powder-coat finish (other RAL colours available on request), with enhanced treatment option available for coast projects.
Mounting arm can be added in two opposing directions, either placing the mounting plate external to the luminaire for a traditional outreach arm style or internal to allow the lighting mast to pass through the void in the fixture for the appearance of the fixture floating in space. An additional 7° upcast can be applied on site for applications where an increased reach is desired.

Optic

Cadre has two polycarbonate optic options - diffused lens for general dispersive illumination, or lensed LEDs for an asymmetric wide beam designed to suit a wide range of urban pedestrian spaces. Black Infrastructure option only available with lensed LED optic.

Electrical

Remote smart drivers, programmable for various intelligent control options.
Optional lightning arrestor set up in a box placed at the base of the mast.

Wattage: 32W - 82W

Light Source

High quality, high efficiency LED chips 3000K (or 3000K + Amber), 60,000hr+ (L80 B10 @ Ts=75°C at highest output level).
