MelaGen® Active lighting can significantly enhance the school learning environment by regulating students' natural wake-sleep cycles to improve alertness and concentration during school hours. The blue-enriched light suppresses melatonin release during daytime, keeping students more focused and engaged in their studies, increasing energy levels and promoting positive moods that support better learning and information retention.

MelaGen® Active, with its 4200K colour temperature and CRI90, is indistinguishable from conventional commercial lighting while providing the alertness benefits of blue-enriched light.

Outdoor Lighting and Protecting the Environment

For outdoor spaces, our robust external lighting range provides excellent illumination while considering environmental factors. Our aluminium poles are made from recycled aluminium which means they won’t rust or need to be replaced. Universities with large outdoor areas (see image below), can benefit from our ecological stand-point. Our spectral transitioning technology found in street lights like the Equinox, are designed to minimise light pollution and protect wildlife habitats through changes in the light output from 4200K down to 1800K by removing blue light. This technology helps reduce light pollution and protect flora and fauna.
